RYE BROOK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 19, 2005--Broadview Networks, a leading communications provider in the Northeast that recently merged with Bridgecom Holdings, today announced the relocation of the company's combined headquarters from Valhalla, NY to an expanded location in Rye Brook, NY. The move will initially include more than 160 employees, most of them currently based in Valhalla.
"Since the two companies merged earlier this year, we've moved quickly to integrate them and to focus on growing the core business," said Michael K Robinson, Broadview Networks' chief executive officer. "Our new headquarters, which will house one of our two call centers and several administrative functions, represents our commitment to future expansion and the customers we serve." Since March, Robinson noted, Broadview Networks also has added eight network collocations in the New York City and Westchester County area to serve its expanding customer base. This brings the total number of collocations in service to 185.
Broadview Networks anticipates the new space will be filled within a few years as the company grows. "I am thrilled to have Broadview Networks, which is our largest corporate tenant, at our premiere location in Rye Brook," said Robert P. Weisz, president of the RPW Group, owner of 800 Westchester Avenue. "The location offers a host of amenities, including improved access to major highways and public transportation, and will accommodate Broadview Networks' expansion and marketplace success."
"We are a major, network-based communications provider in New England and the Mid-Atlantic states serving nearly 400,000 lines," said Brian Crotty, Broadview Networks' president and chief operating officer. "This move represents our commitment to customers, to employees and to the region. We look forward to facing our joint future together. In addition to Rye Brook, we have a significant employee presence in New York City, Boston and Horsham, Pennsylvania, where our Network Operations Center is housed. "
