RYE BROOK, N.Y. – May 24, 2007 – Broadview Networks has been named a finalist for Best Product Development Organization in the 2007 American Business Awards, the Company announced today. In addition, ATX Communications, part of the Broadview Networks family of companies, was also selected as a finalist in two categories: Best Customer Service Organization and Best Sales Team.

The American Business Awards, the only national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace, will announce the 2007 ABA winners at its fifth annual gala awards ceremony in New York’s Times Square on June 11, 2007. More than 2,000 entries from companies across the country representing all sizes and industries were submitted for consideration in numerous categories.

“Being named a finalist in The American Business Awards is an important achievement,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the program. “It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.”

Other finalists for the 2007 American Business Awards include HP, Accenture, E*TRADE Financial, Adobe Systems, Dow Jones and Company, and Eastman Kodak. The program’s Board of judges and advisors will select the 2007 winners from among the finalists, which were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging conducted over the past few months.

In 2006, ATX won the American Business Awards’ Best Customer Service Organization title, and received finalist distinctions for Best Business Turnaround and Best Ad Specialty/Campaign.

“Being recognized as finalists in these three categories points to our well-rounded approach to delivering valuable solutions and an exceptional customer experience through products, sales, and service,” said Brian P. Crotty, Chief Operating Officer of Broadview Networks. “In integrating Broadview and ATX, we have focused on leveraging each company’s best qualities and, as these honors and several recent high-profile customer wins attest, we’re already seeing real opportunity and momentum created by the combined power of our ‘new’ organization.”
